It all started because she couldnt give up her favorite pair of well-worn, beloved Levis.
Over the years she wore holes in her favorite jeans, and while some the holes she patched with fabric, some of them were left open.
When the hem gave out, she added fabric at the bottom.
Loving how the soft, faded denim felt, she kept repairing them, noticing that not only did she love her jeans---lots of other people did too.
Seemed like everywhere she went, people would stop her and ask her where she got her jeans.
After this started to happen quite frequently Michelle decided to create and refurbish vintage jeans as a business.
These jeans arent designed to replace the designer jeans that people already have, says Michelle.
But SECOND CHANCE? jeans are perfect for when youre just in the mood to put on your favorite pair of jeans, kick back and be relaxed.
I call them my weekend jeans. I named the line SECOND CHANCE? because all of the jeans are vintage. The name also comes from a desire to give yourself a second chance, give yourself a break when you are wearing them.
